So they install them, and the only think it fills with grease is the cavity between the sealed cheap bearings. My older Murray Rider was like this. I've read that elsewhere as well.

WebThe bearings on my Kubota deck are sealed (both sides), not shielded. The spindles do not have grease zirks because the bearings are sealed. Adding zirks and pumping grease into the spindle cavity will damage my existing sealed bearings. I anticipate when I have to change those bearings they will zero corrosion and no signs of water intrusion.
