Gate 3 usually takes around 4 hours of attempts for prog groups, it just takes alot of practice to get used to all the one shot mechanics, but definitely doable in pugs. Have some patience. For future raids I've heard that HM Clown and NM Brel are Lost Ark's version of Ultimate level raiding and HM Valtan and HM Vykas are Savage tier.
